Michigan's republican state convention is this month, with other states also having procedures to identify republican candidates for state office. Identify your choice for AG, SOS, State Board of Education (or other races in states other than MI), and volunteer to make calls to or knock doors of registered voters in your area. Do this until you have successfully reached at least 100 registered voters.
