An Update Regarding the Coronavirus From Dr. Martin Dubravec on June 11, 2021: Fact: More questions are being raised with regard to COVID-19 vaccinations and reporting of the rate of COVID-19 infection in patients who have received the vaccines.  These cases are called “breakthrough cases”.    The CDC reported that it will not be keeping track of people who get COVID-19 after they have been vaccinated unless they are hospitalized or die of COVID-19.  In part because of this the CDC admitted that “the number of reported COVID-19 vaccine breakthrough cases is likely a substantial undercount of all SARS-CoV-2 infections among fully vaccinated persons”. True or False Friday: The Michigan and United States Constitutions allow governments to encroach upon certain aspects of our liberties when it is necessary to respond to a public health situation. FALSE!   Our country has known famine,  disease, war, terrorism, death, natural disaster, and much more. No matter however pressing the  exigency of the time may appear, the “Constitution of the United States is a law for rulers and  people . . . at all times, and under all circumstances.” Ex Parte Milligan, 71 US 2, 120 (1866); Twitchell v Blodgett, 13 Mich 127, 149-50 (1865).   And as you can see by these citations, this has been a well understood principle in the United States Supreme Court and the Michigan Supreme Court for well over 150 years.
