Statutes, US Constitution, MI Court Rules, & MI Constitution - Motion to Dismiss - Wk 21 Constitution Segment Recap

Due to the around the clock work Katherine was doing this week to finalize her several motions and briefs to file in her Allegan County election day case, we were not able to post a normal Thursday Constitution Segment or Friday's Freedom Fighting Tools. But we still wanted to remind you of which parts were discussed this week. There are several Constitution segments, court rules and statutes we covered in this week's episode, but the main ones related to our discussion on Motions to Dismiss are:

MCL 764.9d (state law);
the 1st, 6th and 14th Amendments of the US Constitution;
MCR (MI Court Rules) 2.504(B)(1),
MCR 2.116(C) and MCR 6.004(A);
and Article I, § 2; §3; §5; §17; and §20 of the Michigan Constitution.

Please check out this week's full episode for more details, (found here: https://tinyurl.com/2s4czyxk) and our other post of Freedom Fighting Tools for examples of these motions.
